Longbeach

Notion created a new Brand identity, direction and narrative for the repositioning of the luxury Mauritian destination.

 

We went back to the drawing board on how to approach the Long Beach project. By undertaking thorough research to understand how the property has been working and the direction it needed to move forward in to position itself within the lifestyle sector of a thriving international market. Taking the property from where it previously sat; ‘ and transforming and unfolding Long Beach:

To do this the Notion followed the typical qualitative data collection to begin the process of using machines to find common information and data. They wrote software to leverage machine learning algorithms to identify strengths and weaknesses with the design and identity of the property. Utilizing and creating unique applications to programmatically read and return the sentiment within copy written about Long Beach.  Using machines to direct design decisions is a very new concept, we all agreed this was the correct approach as Long Beach's avant-garde architecture provided the inspiration to push the boundaries of what is possible.
